Local processing

Browser Wrapped processes browsing history and the active tab address on your device to calculate screen-time statistics and reports. It stores only aggregated website domains, dates, and durations locally. It does not persist full URLs, page titles, or search queries.

Optional sharing

Nothing is uploaded in the background. Sharing begins only after you choose a report-sharing action. Direct links contain the values visible on your cards. Creating a short link sends those card values to our share service, where the payload is encrypted and automatically deleted after 30 days.

What we do not do

Browser Wrapped has no accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, or sale of personal data. Private windows are not tracked. Rate limiting uses a secret-keyed, short-lived digest rather than storing your IP address.

Your controls

You can pause tracking, exclude websites, export your local data, or delete it from the extension settings. Declining Firefox's optional sharing permission prevents report transmission. Uninstalling the extension removes its local data.
